Educators will be introduced to key principles, practical strategies for integrating home languages and English, and tools to support a smooth transition to bilingual learning from Grade 4 onwards.
The course should take you 2-3 hours to complete. From when you begin you have 4 weeks to complete it. After successful completion you will get a certificate.
This course is primarily in English but integrates African languages. IsiXhosa is used more because the presenters are based in the Western Cape. All content is also explained in English. We encourage participants to use all their languages for thinking, speaking, writing, and learning.
